Don’t joke around with your relationship with GOD

Thus shalt thou say unto him, The Lord saith thus; Behold, that which I have built will I break down, and that which I have planted I will pluck up, even this whole land. Jeremiah 45:4

There is a way you are seen in the eyes of the LORD when you are not growing and nurturing your relationship HIM… A son who claims to love his father, but does not do everything that is required of him to be called a son of his father; will one day have nothing in common with his father but his last name, that is if he bears it! Due to his attitude to his father he will be out of his father’s reach, when trouble hits he may end of up suffering for it…. Some fathers are very realistic with the way they treat their children, they don’t keep showing their soft spot since the child takes it for granted, at the end the child will earn their wrath!

Don’t joke around with your relationship with GOD, don’t say to yourself “that there is time, I will give my life to CHRIST later”…. “I will read my Bible or pray when I am less busy”… GOD loves passionately, but when HE sees you take HIM for granted, HE would like to discipline you and prove HIS worth to you!!

Life is beginning to look and feel like a mix, it’s no longer straight forward anymore, the things you pray for, many unbelievers have them and you begin to question why you are a Christian? The truth of the matter is that you have to come to a place in your life where you decide your lifestyle is of JESUS…. Because the people out there have come to a conclusion that they believe in themselves or seek high powers (the devil), to make it in life….

We as humans have a different genetic makeup, we are like fish outside water, when we don’t seek to maintain, grow and nurture our relationship with GOD. You have to learn to trust HIS process, it’s not up to you to determine when you buy this or have that, your efforts will fail you. Man will always disappoint you but GOD will never.

GOD in time past always bless people with enormous blessings, once you make up your mind to be his private property, HE WILL BLESS YOU!… A friend of mine will always say, “GOD has no problem blessing people, the problem is with man”. My G.O will always say that “It is ok for you to trust GOD, but can GOD trust you?”

Faithfulness is one quality GOD is looking for in man, during the waiting process… That is why it sometimes takes a long time to get somethings done, compared to the unbelievers, out there, for they trust their resources, hard work, skill, connection and many more, but you trust in GOD.

GOD just wants to test your love for HIM, to make sure, ensure and prove that your love for HIM is strong, intense and unshakable. GOD wants to know how faithful you can be to HIM, for HE is always faithful to you.

Abraham was tested, and GOD found HIM faithful, he gave GOD all he had, his life, which entailed his time in seeking and serving GOD (When Abraham welcomed angels Genesis 18:1-8), he gave up his child Isaac Genesis 22:1-18, his wealth and many more, you too should be found faithful as you are tested daily!! Be ready to give up your life (resources and time), in service to GOD, give up Sundays to worship JESUS, don’t be found wanting during mid-week services… Nothing in life is more important than GOD!!
